WELCOME
Cypress Soaring Glider Club, located in Southern California, can help you realize your dream of flying a sailplane. The club was established in 1969 at Cypress College, in Cypress, California. It was incorporated as a non-profit corporation dedicated to teaching and promoting soaring. We are based at Hemet-Ryan Airport, in Hemet, California. We are convenient to most locations in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties.

CYPRESS SOARING FLIGHT ADVOCATES
Help fund the Cypress Soaring Flight Advocates’ efforts to supply scholarships, training, and equipment to help make young pilots’ dreams of soaring flight come true. Your tax-deductible donation will help fund young student pilots’ efforts to reach their first solo flight experience. Flight instruction, training aircraft, towing services and more will be supplied by Cypress Soaring, Inc., a 501(c)(7) nonprofit (EIN 93-4542545). All Cypress Soaring instructors are Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified, and all Cypress aircraft meet and exceed FAA requirements. Cypress Soaring is equipped to provide you with a wide range of soaring experiences from basic instruction to advanced cross country and high altitude flight. Cypress club instructors are available one or two days a week, usually on weekends, so flight instruction is available to members about once a week. We also offer more than just flight instruction. We are a group of people with interests like your own. We conduct regular club meetings once a month. We also have social events, BBQs, safaris to other airports, and we offer a great opportunity to make new friends. People of all ages and a wide variety of backgrounds are members of Cypress Soaring.
